Hello guys, I hope that you had a great weekend and a wonderful Labor Day. And here we are back to work. Well my weekend was a long one, let me tell you. Saturday, Scot, Phillip and I opened up the yard sale at 6:30 a.m. Yup, that early. I am not sure what I was thinking. But I enjoyed the time that I spent with the two crazy dudes. Let me tell you, when you get around Scot and Phillip, you do not have to worry about being bored. They are great entertainment. We finally closed the yard sale around 4:00 p.m. I am not exactly sure how much we (Nana & Pa, Heather & Phillip, Scot & I) made from Wednesday to Saturday but I think that it was around $1,700.00. That is good money. After that Scot and I were busy with my family. I think that we got home that night around 11:oo that night.

Sunday we went to church, after that as we were leaving to go get something to eat before we went to see my grandmother for her birthday we saw Nicki walking from the church. Scot asked him where he was walking to and he told us "to his house". So the first thing that we thought was that his home was here somewhere in Smyrna. Scot asked him how far was his house and then he told us that he lived by the airport in Nashville. He had gotten up at 1 a.m. and started walking to the church. So Scot told him to get in the car and that we would take him home. As we took him home he told us a few things here and there. When we dropped him off he said thank you and walked to his friends house. It just amazed me how far he would walk for God. So I got to thinking, how many of us are willing to get up early early in the morning and walk that far to spend time wtih God? I don't think that there are many of us at all. So how far would you walk for God? That is something that you can think about. Once we got done with my family stuff Scot and went back to NaNa's and watched two DVD's that were about Latvia, when my parents went there and adopted us. Watching those videos brought back a lot of memories to me.

Monday Scot and I cleaned his room a little bit more, and spent time with Nana and Gracie. You can not ask for a better three day weekend then the one that I had.

Thank goodness that today is Friday. I am ready for the long weekend. I have a few things that I am doing this weekend. Lets see, today when I get off work Scot and I are going to the bank, then we are going to enjoy time with Nana and Pa. We are going to work on the yard sale. Lets pray that it does not rain today. We may rent a movie tonight and have a movie night.

Tomorrow we are going to Garretts baseball game, help Nana with the yard sale, and then Scot and I are going to my parents house for a cook out. I have about 35 family memebers that are going to be in town this weekend. So I am going to spend some time with them.

Sunday morning I am going to church with Scot, Nana, and Pa. After church Scot and I have to drive back to Murfreesboro to go celebrate my grandmothers 100th birthday. My grandmother is an insperation to me. Yes, she is turning 100 yet she is strong as she could ever be. I am so thankful to have a grandmother like her. She is a joy yo be around with. That is the reason that all of my dads side of the family is going to be here for the weekend. Thats all that plans I think... So I am going to have a pretty busy weekend.

The good thing is that I am off on Monday and so is Scot. Monday is going to be our day to rest. Well guys, have a wonderful weekend and a great Labor Day. Just remember not to stop smiling.

~Weekend~

My weekend was wonderful. Lets see, Friday Scot and I made dinner for Nana, Pa, CJ, Megan, and Mathew. We made Taco's. Garrett went to a High School football game with some of his buddies. He did not get home till about 11.40p.m. I went to bed around 10p.m.

Saturday morning I had to get up early to get ready for Garretts baseball game. He had a game at 10 a.m. I thought that it would stay cool most of the morning but I was wrong. Mathew came with us as well. So it was Scot, Garrett, Mathew and myself. We got to the fields 20 minutes till 10. We placed our three seat chair in the shade thinking that it would keep us cool. WRONG, I had a cap on and sat in the shady part of the bleacher section. When we got back to Nana's I went to see if I got any sun and I was burned. Especially on my shoulders and my face. This league does not keep the score so I am guessing that Garretts team won the game. Garrett was a great sport. He was the catcher for most of the game. In the first few innings Garrett hurt his right arm. So he sat out an inning and had ice on it. I was not sure if he was going to get back on the field. But he did. His arm felt much better after he had the ice pack on it for a little while. Garrett is a great catcher for his age. I think that, he has found his favorite position in baseball.

When we got back to Nana's I took a shower and Scot and I went to eat at O'Charleys. Then we got back to Nana's and worked on Scots room again. Plus we got stuff together for the yard sale that Nana is having this week. Then it was my time to go home and get into bed.

Sunday, I got up and met Scot at Nana's. We went to church that morning. After church Garrett went with Uncle Phillip, Aunt Pooh, and Abby to Chuck E Cheese for a birthday party. While Garrett was there, Scot and I went shopping. The weird things is, we barely spent any money or saw anything that interested us. Once we were done shopping we went to Pooh's house and picked up Garrett and took him back to Nana's. By then it was time for Garrett to take a shower and get ready for bed. I left Nana's around 8 p.m. I was getting really tired. So that was my weekend. LOL. I hope that all of you had a great weekend as well and got to spend it with your loved ones.
