Drops of love

This is what Joy and I did late Saturday afternoon. except we did not have two umbrellas and we were not dress in the right clothes. Joy had flip flops on and I had boots on. We decided to run into Wal*Mart while it was raining. After getting done in Wal*Mart we decided to take the chance and run back to the truck, except this time the rain was coming down really hard. Yes we did have an umbrella but it was no use we still managed to get our clothes soaked and wet. We were laughing the whole time that we were running to the truck. It was actually fun just to enjoy what God has given us. Joy, next time lets make sure that we are not in Chads truck. LOL

Busy

Today after work I took my mom out to eat at "A Hearts Pizza". I had never heard of them until my mom mentioned it to me. This place is a sit down place where you order any kinda pizza you want. They have a menu that you can choose from but you also can make your own pizza. We just sat there and talked about what was going on in my life and so on. After we got done eating mom and I went to my brothers new house to see my kitties. I miss them, but I know that Scot is glad to get them out of his hair. After that Scot met me at my parents house and we watches RV. That is a really good movie to see. I recommend for anyone that likes to go camping to see this movie. Thats it for Friday.

This morning Scot woke me up at 8 a.m. to get ready for the "Old Timers Day". For breakfast we had the healthy McDonalds. LOL. Then we met up with Phillip, Heather, & Abby to go walk to booths that were set up. We split up. So Scot and I walked each and every booth there was. It was nice to just take your time and walk around. Scot and I learned a few interesting things during our walk. We eventually got a fresh squeezed lemonade. You can't get better then that. We finally decided that it was time to walk back to our car. We met up with the Walpers again, plus Mamaw and Papaw were there. Scot and I caught the end of the parade. I think that Scot and I had been walking for about four and a half hours so we were ready to go home take a nap and get something to eat. AfterI took a nap and Scot watching movies we went to Poohs house. For dinner we had pizza and for dessert we had home baked cookies. Make sure to ask Scot how many cookies he got that night. LOL. After that I went home and was ready for bed.

I had to do a few things this morning. Then I met up with Scot at the church. After church Charlie, Leslie, CJ, Scot and I went to eat at Logans. Today Scot and I got our marriage counseling. The four of us ended up talking for about 2 hours. It was a wonderful time. Charlie and Leslie thank you for the wonderful lunch. I enjoyed talking to both of you. Once we got done eating. Scot and I went back to Nana's and just relaxed. I fell asleep for a little while. After that Scot and I had to take care of some personal stuff. The reason that we were not at church last night was because Scot and I had to discuss some stuff that could not wait and we needed some time alone. I hope that everything is squared away. Scot and I have a new thing that we do. We play spades every evening. While playing cards we can just catch up with everything and just have a normal conversation. As of right now I am not sure who is a better player, me or Scot.LOL. Scot and I ended up talking till about 11 last night. It was a long conversation but we needed it. Then I finally went to bed. I guess that is about it.

Northfield wreck claims woman's lifeVictim killed at scene when car failed to make curve at HighlandStaff report
A Murfreesboro woman was killed in a one-car accident early Sunday morning when her vehicle ran off Northfield Boulevard and slammed into a power pole, police said.
Courtney Hunkapiller, 21, of 715 Imperial Court, Murfreesboro, died when her 1996 Honda Accord struck the pole, Murfreesboro Police Officer Keith Sanders reported. Hunkapiller was not wearing a safety belt during the accident, which occurred around 3:30 a.m.
The vehicle was traveling east on East Northfield Boulevard when it failed to negotiate a curve at the intersection of North Highland Avenue and left the roadway striking the pole, Officer Sanders reported. Rutherford County Emergency Services paramedics pronounced her dead at the scene.
Based on the damage to the vehicle at the crash scene, speed was probably a factor in the wreck, said Sgt. Sam Campbell, but he could not speculate about how fast the victim was driving.
"It just sounds like a normal ride that went really bad," Campbell said.
The victim may have been an MTSU student because she had a university ID and books in the car, but he had not confirmed with the university whether she was enrolled.
The air bag in Hunkapiller's vehicle was deployed, according to the report. It is not known whether alcohol was involved. Campbell requested an autopsy.

The reason that I put this in my blog is that this girl is one of my closest friends. I have known her since I was in Middle School. I had just talked to her a few days ago and we talked about getting together. She also had told me that she wanted to go to church with me on Wednesday nigth and get saved. I was looking forward to that. But now I lost her. Please just pray for her family and her older brother and her younger sister. I am still in shock. I also want to thank Scot for just letting me cry on him and holding me and telling me that everything is going to be O.K. I love you.

Europe

This is a picture of two of my friends that I have known all my life. Short hair is Ilona and the other one is Natalija, Ilonas sister. The reason that I know these two girls is because we grew up in the same orphanage in Latvia. For the first time in a long time, Ilona e-mailed me this picture. It was taken in Latvia when they went home for three weeks. That is one thing that I would love to do, is go back to my home. Ilona also e-mailed me a web site that has another girl that we grew up with, where she is a pop star in Latvia. If you want to check it out, just go to www.ladybird.lv I just got done looking at her web site. It is amazing how well she has done for herself. While Ilona was in Latvia, she was able to hang out with the pop princess. As of what Ilona has told me, Latvia has changed alot. But it will always be my home. Ilona and Natalija, we need to get together sometime and catch up with our lives.

Special Day

This is a very special person in my life. This is my grandmother that is an inspiration to everyone that she touches. Today is her birthday and she is 100 years old. Yup you read it right 100 years old. I know that some of you knew that Scot and I went this past Sunday to celebrate her birthday. The reason that we did is then was because it was Labor Day weekend and her family was able to come to TN to visit her and wish her a happy birthday. All of her life she has lived in MS. That did not stop my brother or I to go and visit her every chance that we had. But now she is much closer to us. She lives in a nursing home. She shares a room with another lady. I also know that she goes and reads to the children in the child care at the nursing home. There is nothing that grandma won't do. I am very lucky to have her as my grandmother.
